Our bird hide, situated in the middle of the Phelwana Dam, is strategically positioned providing a concealed vantage point for observing birds and other wildlife in their natural habitat. There are over 500 recorded species of bird in the Greater Kruger National Park region and our abundance of water offers you an opportunity to view some of them.

Bateleur Eagle, Fish Eagle, Hornbill, Hoopoe, Pearl Spotted Owl, Sunbirds, Lilac-Breasted Rollers, Kingfishers, Starlings and many more.
